OTJ Expands Services with In-House MEP Practice

In response to sustained client demand for more integrated project delivery, OTJ is pleased to announce the launch of an in-house Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) line of engineering services.

The introduction of these in-house services will allow OTJ to offer a more efficient and collaborative delivery model on select projects—particularly those that present aggressive schedules and opportunities for early systems integration. OTJ remains committed to maintaining our strong relationships with existing MEP partners and will strategically deploy internal engineering resources where they add the greatest value for our clients.

The MEP practice will be led by Adam Emshwiller, PE, who joins OTJ as Principal and Studio Director. Adam brings nearly 20 years of experience in the development of high-performance mechanical systems for commercial, mixed-use, residential, and mission-critical environments. He is recognized for his ability to translate complex technical requirements into efficient, resilient, and well-coordinated building systems that align seamlessly with architectural design.

In his role, Adam will oversee all engineering disciplines within the studio, guiding technical quality, production, and execution of MEP deliverables. Working closely with our architects and designers, he will ensure that building systems are thoughtfully integrated from concept through construction, reinforcing OTJ’s commitment to design excellence, performance, and long-term value.

This strategic expansion marks an important evolution in OTJ’s service offering and reflects our continued investment in client-focused solutions.
