The building’s unique geometry challenged our team to develop a solution sufficiently flexible to accommodate a rotation of dynamic furniture vignettes that invite the exploration of varying work modes. Our design also addresses critical code considerations and leverages the suite’s corner location to maximize panoramic views as well as daylight penetration. To foster a sense of arrival, visitors are greeted by a glass entry and a custom floor mosaic of the Officeworks logo. The adjacent café doubles as a hospitality nucleus and event venue, with clean lines, built-in millwork, and movable furnishings that support gatherings of any scale. Beyond, a series of interconnected zones – living room-style lounges, glass-fronted executive offices, and a flexible open work area – invite exploration and serve as a stage for the client’s furniture offerings. A materials library sits at the heart of the plan and serves as a central resource where designers and clients can engage with finishes and palettes in real time.

The project’s design vernacular elevates industrial finishes through refined detailing: concrete floors pair with bronze metal accents and warm wood elements against the backdrop of a neutral palette that amplifies natural light. In turn, bespoke branding moments subtly underscore the client’s identity and the space’s overarching architectural narrative. The result is an aesthetically arresting, agile environment that furthers innovation and celebrates Officeworks’ role as a trusted partner in workplace design.
